Public Relations & Content -Saudi Arabia& PR
On March 15, 2013
With another week coming to an end at 5WPR, some random thoughts:
- Was surprised to not hear back from the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) about my oped today in Bulldog Reporter about “why there is such silence around the fact that the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) has just finished co-hosting “the 4th Public Relations Forum” in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia — a country where women are severely discriminated against. In Saudi Arabia, all women, regardless of age, are required to have a male guardian — and it is a country where only twenty-one percent of women are in the workforce.” Surprised there hasn’t been more commentary from my peers in the agency world about this.
- Great article outlining “Why PR Is Winning The Content War” – Very worthwhile reading
- Will spring ever arrive in the great city of NY? Has been a tough winter and it’s freezing yet again.
