Really had one of those days yesterday (Monday, January 10, 2011).
I was blessed today to attend a private awe-inspiring lunch with a handful of people for a presentation by the renowned Dr. Oz, (Mehmet Cengiz Oz), best known for his regular appearances on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and his syndicated daily television program, The Dr. Oz Show. Oz spoke eloquently about the importance of synchronizing diet and exercise with daily life, and the significance that nutrition plays. While I am a gym enthusiast, he gave some exciting and interesting lessons which will stay with me. He asked 1 participant of the event who worked on the 54th floor of the building “Why don’t you just walk up and down the stairs every day – you wont need the gym.”
In the evening, courtesy of my friend Joey Allaham (the owner of the Oak Room at NYC’s famed Plaza Hotel), I attended a private concert with Alexa Ray Joel in her last concert there. It was amazing to see as a huge fan of the iconic Billy Joel to watch Christie Brinkley work the room (although it took away the iconic status to see “Desperate Housewives of New Jersey” filming in the room at the same time.)
Interesting and fascinating day. Life and times owning a PR Agency.
