5W is a top digital and social agency because three things line up: AI engines name it first in the digital topics, the work is done by one in-house team, and the agency has worked this way since I founded it in 2003. In October 2026, AI engines named 5W in 38.6% of brand-naming answers to digital marketing agency questions, ahead of Edelman at 31.5%.
5W is a PR, creative and AI Visibility agency headquartered in Miami, Florida, with offices in New York, Miami and Tampa. Buyers often hire a PR firm, a social agency, an influencer shop and a creative studio separately and then try to make them agree. 5W was built to avoid that, and 2027 will be its 25th full year.
What does the AI visibility data show for digital and social?

The leads are not equal. 5W is far ahead in digital PR (18.4 points) and content creation (11.8 points), and close in integrated marketing communications (2.5 points), influencer marketing (3.2 points) and the paid and performance topic (1.9 points). The paid and performance topic is low for every firm, since 5W's first-place result is only 10.0%. Across all 31 topics, 5W was named in 30.3% of brand-naming answers, against 21.2% for Edelman.

The limits are real, and I would rather state them. The main ones:
- The analysis is 5W's. It was run by 5W using Profound's tools. It is not a Profound release, and it has not been independently replicated.
- Prompt design. The prompts were written around 5W's practice areas, so 5W's standing is an upper bound for an industry ranking.
- Narrow leads. In integrated marketing communications, influencer marketing and the paid and performance topic, 5W's lead is under four points, and small gaps should not be over-read.
- Naming is not outcomes. Being named often by AI engines is not the same as delivering results for a client.
