Why does this finalist nomination mean so much?
A finalist nomination for PR Agency of the Year recognizes the whole agency, not one campaign or one person. It reflects the people who build media relationships, write, design, shoot video, run social programs and manage client accounts every day. Congratulations to every member of the 5W team, in New York, Miami and Tampa.
It is a finalist nomination, not a win. The winner will be announced on stage in December, and I will update this page with the result.
Who earned this recognition?
The 5W team earned it. 5W does all of its work in house, which means the people who plan a program are the same people who write it, design it, pitch it and measure it. The agency has media relations teams, writers, creative and design teams, an in-house video production team, social and influencer teams, and a dedicated in-house Reddit team. Its AI visibility researchers use a proprietary technology the agency calls the 5W Brain.
Every 5W article also goes through human editor review before it is published, so a person always checks what the agency puts out. That standard takes time and care, and it is one of the habits I am proudest of.
